Spring is a time of renewal and creativity! Take the time to explore your creative side and refresh. Here are a few ways to do just that on and off campus.

Get social

Meeting people will always mean new ideas and new perspectives. Spring is worlds away from wintertime isolation. Take advantage!

Don’t forget to RSVP for the MACES BBQ on May 3rd. It’s completely free and one of the best ways to connect yourself with other McGill School of Continuing Studies students.

Do you know about McGill public lectures? There’s everything from public Astro Nights to Freaky Friday myth busting. Get your nerd on! Go to a lecture and discover a new world of thought.

Listen to live music

Spring is a great time for music in Montreal! At McGill, there are plenty of Bachelor and Master’s recitals with free admission. Take a look at the schedule.

Across Montreal, live music will be revving up. Check out some jazz music at the Musée d’Art Contemporain on April 25th. Following exams, you can treat yourself to multidisciplinary works (songs, music, dance, theatre) by young artists at Festival Vue sur la Relève starting May 6th. If hip hop is your thing, check out the new Metro Metro festival May 18th – 19th.

Learn something new

Did you know SSMU offers mini courses? It’s open to everyone, but discounted for McGill students. Check out their dance and language courses starting in May!

Learning a new way to keep fit is another way to refresh your habits. New courses for May at McGill Athletics may interest you. Check out their schedule.
