SSMU Marketplace

Find job opportunities, rooms for rent, furniture, tutoring, and more! The SSMU Marketplace is open to all McGill community members.

Online McGill Library Resources

Did you know you can access many resources online from the comfort of your home? This is a great option for people working full-time or commuting from far away. Stream music or films, message a librarian, research your paper and discover career options.

Peer Support Centre

SSMU (Student’s Society of McGill University) offers a peer support service for those times when you need someone to talk to. You’ll speak with someone trained to offer help and support tailored to the pressures of student life. If you are returning to school after a long absence, this free service could be a great support. It’s open to all McGill students. You can make an appointment or drop in Monday to Friday, 1pm – 7pm at SSMU on the second floor of 3471 Peel.

Le James Bookstore

Pick up all your textbooks at 680 Sherbrooke St. W., but don’t forget you can also sell your used or old textbooks here! Can’t find a book you’re looking for? You can ask Le James to order it in for you!

Mcgill Art Hive

This great resource is open to the McGill community! Drop in and make art – supplies and support are provided! It’s a great stress relief tool. They’re open Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm in the McGill Education Building (3700 McTavish, 1st floor).

McGill International Student Network

Join the International student community at McGill! This network hosts events and provides resources to help you adapt to Montreal life. International students at the School can find a home here!

School of Music Free Events

Take your mind off your busy schedule and listen to free music! It’s a great way to feel more connected to the McGill community.

Alternative Spring Break

Open to all McGill students, this program matches you up with volunteer opportunities during reading week. A great way to get involved!
