Did you know you have your very own career advising support team cheering you on? Career Advising and Transitions Services is an invaluable resource for School of Continuing Studies students. If you haven’t met their team yet, it’s your next step to achieving your dream job!
Don’t get too caught up in your studies and grades! It’s equally important to be actively exploring the field you wish to enter after your studies and what your goals are. If this is something you struggle with, individual advising could be the perfect solution for you.
There’s more than just one-on-one advising available – a world of possibilities await you! Here’s a few other top ways to make the most of CATS:
Attend Events
CATS runs amazing events throughout the year. The Networking Bootcamp and Brunch (coming up on April 6th), is a good way to dip your toes in the water. You’ll be introduced to CATS, learn about networking, and meet fellow students at the School.
Join a FB Live
Don’t have time to visit CATS in person? They run FB live Q&As on a variety of subjects. All you have to do is visit the CATS FB Page at the session date and time. Check out their most recently completed FB Live on the Job Fair.
Register for the Job Fair
Just a week away! Register for the event of the year– the McGill SCS Job Fair! Top employers will be there and it is EXCLUSIVELY for students from the School. This means you get more face time.
Take a Look at the Job Board
Another online resource, the CATS Job Board has hundreds of quality jobs posted and they’re available only to students at the School.
