MACES is the student association that represents Continuing Studies students at McGill University.
Who We Are > History

MACES was founded in 1989 by a group of continuing education students who collectively wanted an association to represent them and the rest of the student body at the School of Continuing Studies.

Over the years, many students belonging to different professional disciplines, cultures and backgrounds have been members of the association and are now leaders in their respective communities.

MACES strives to represent its fellow McGill Continuing Studies Students
whose common objective for enrolling in the school is:
1)  to expand their horizons and strengthen their career paths with added learning and knowledge
2)  to protect the interests of the students
3)  to contribute to their well-being to ensure that they benefit from a positive academic,
personal, professional, cultural and social experience at the School of Continuing Studies
